The meaning of grace can be correlated with freedom. That freedom can be related to a waterfall.
It’s a picture.
A picture of an ever present stream that never stops.
This overflowing of grace and freedom is available to us, but what does this mean? It means we can be so free that we fly.
We fly because the burdens are now gone and we feel light, filled with THE light.
Listen carefully. I have struggled with this concept for 7 years.
I wondered why I didn’t feel grace like at other times. Grace is given, and we have to believe in faith that it is there.
I mess up often, sometimes more than I would like to admit. In these moments I have to walk towards grace and believe it has been given to me.
I believe that it has been given to me, because God’s Word says it has. If I don’t believe in that, what do I really have?
Ponder this for a moment: Jesus came on a rescue mission, not just for you and me but for ALL people.
As I am typing I am overwhelmed by the thought of this. I just can’t wrap my mind around this kind of love.
A love that is so selfless, it doesn’t have a face. This grace we are talking about came in the form of a perfect sacrifice, a pleasing aroma to God.
This sacrifice gives us the grace needed to fly, needed to ascend to the throne of our loving God and Savior Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Because Jesus was the perfect sacrifice, the outpouring of grace is so much, so big that it floods us over and over again in spite of our sin.
Grace is so powerful that no sin, no wickedness can overcome Grace. Grace is the ultimate trump card.
Whew, my life. What a display of heinous crimes and disgusting acts. But grace, oh grace. Grace came into me and washed it clean, giving me a new heart and a new purpose.
This grace is only available through Jesus the Christ. Thank you
I will lay down my life to serve you. Is that the drum beat in your heart?
If it isn’t it can be right now.
Ask Jesus into your heart. Agree with Him that you messed up and need Him to experience this flood of grace.
Oh how you can fly now and in Heaven!
Take hold of it.
Have confidence in it.
Thank Jesus for it.
